Privacy policy

This privacy policy describes how Replace PrescribeIT (operated by AutoRx Solutions Inc., a Canadian-owned company; the "Company", "we", "us") collects, uses, and discloses personal information collected through the website at https://replace-prescribeit.ca (the "Site").

We follow the PIPEDA principles set out by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as well as applicable provincial privacy law including PHIPA (Ontario), HIA (Alberta), and PIPA (British Columbia). This site does not collect, store, or transmit Personal Health Information (PHI). For information about the AutoRx product's handling of PHI, please contact us.

What we collect

We collect personal information in two contexts:

1. Contact form submissions

When you submit a form on this Site, we collect the information you provide: your name, work email, organization name, pharmacy or EMR system (optional), message, and a hidden tag identifying which audience page you submitted from (pharmacist or clinician). We do not collect Personal Health Information through any form on this site.

2. Automatic information

When you visit, our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4) records standard site analytics: pages viewed, time on page, referring source, anonymized IP address, device type, and Google-managed advertising identifiers (only if you reached the Site via a Google Ads click). We use this to measure the effectiveness of the Site and our advertising. We do not link analytics data to your name or email.

How we use it

  • To reply to your message and follow up on the request you submitted.
  • To send transactional messages directly related to the inquiry you initiated. We do not run a marketing newsletter from this site.
  • To measure the performance of the Site and our advertising campaigns.
  • To comply with our legal obligations under Canadian law.

Who has access

Form submissions are delivered through Formspree, a form-handling service. Submissions are emailed to a small AutoRx team mailbox and retained in the Formspree dashboard. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics 4 defaults (14 months for events; aggregated reporting indefinitely). You can request earlier deletion at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies set by Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to measure site performance and ad attribution. These cookies do not store personal information about you that we could link to your identity. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

CASL — anti-spam law

We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. Submitting a form on this Site triggers a transactional response from our team relating to your inquiry — not a recurring marketing message. If we later add a marketing newsletter, we will collect express opt-in consent before sending you any non-transactional message, and every message will include an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct any inaccuracy.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information from our systems.
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial commissioner.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getautorx.ca with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We respond within 30 days.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted in transit over TLS. Stored submissions sit in Formspree's infrastructure and in our team email; both have access controls limiting access to authorized staff only. No method of online transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we apply commercially reasonable safeguards.

Children

The Site is intended for Canadian pharmacy and clinic decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced via a notice on this Site for at least 30 days.
